Are you looking for an easier way to reply to new leads and manage your inbox? We have great news: we published a new version of the Persio AI integration we made for Zapier. This updated version can now generate responses to your incoming messages next to qualifying them using ChatGPT's AI technology (we wrote about this functionality here).

Writing business emails can be a real drag, especially if you're in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success. It’s exhausting to put your thoughts into words for all the different messages you receive and make sure everything you write is business-worthy. You can spend hours crafting the perfect email for potential clients, but it doesn't have to be that way.

By swiftly responding to leads with personalized, AI-generated messages that are tailored to each message individually, you could save time and focus on leads that are bringing you actual value. Sounds dreamy, doesn’t it? 👀

Our recently launched Persio AI app for Zapier can do just that, as we took it to the next level with the new Response Generation feature. Based on the sentiment score provided by OpenAI's GPT-3 and the tone and dialect you choose, the Persio AI app generates and sends a response to your incoming message right away, or composes a draft that you can tweak later.

How to set it up

You can set up Persio AI in less than five minutes: all you need to do is connect Persio AI to your inbox via Zapier. Let’s see how!

Note: To launch a Zap with Persio AI, you'll need a paid Zapier subscription, as we'll need to perform more steps than available in their free plan.

First, log in to your Zapier account and start creating a Zap.

1. As a Trigger, choose your preferred messaging app. It can be a personal email platform like Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, an outbound sales tool like Reply.io and Woodpecker, and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and Wavo. In our example, we’ll use a Gmail account. Set the event for new email/message, depending on the platform you selected. Choose your inbox when setting up the trigger, and finish with the required test.

2. The next step is setting up the Action. Here comes the exciting part: choose the latest version of Persio, and as an Event, select "Response Generation". You’ll also need to connect your existing Persio account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up here!

Pro Tip: combine this feature with our Lead Classification feature for better results.

As we want to analyze the body of the received message, select the body, and decide what dialect and tone should the AI use when crafting your reply. By testing this Action, you'll already see an AI-generated answer to one of your emails!

3. We’ll need to set up a second Action:
just like in the first step, you should use your selected messaging tool’s integration, where you can tell the AI what to do with the generated response (in our example, send it immediately or save it as a draft).

This is also the place where you need to specify your subject line and the sender’s name, or even add an attachment. You can also put someone on CC or BCC if you want to! At the required Body field, you should choose "Answer", generated by Persio AI.

Now your Zap is ready to publish! 🎉
